"Being a father of 2 boys and Director of a fast-growing consulting business, I always assumed my stomach issues, fatigue and daily energy levels were related to stress and was just one of those things to live with. In 2023 I was introduced to Rachel and we completed a detailed food diary followed by a nutrition consultation. Rachel was very thorough and spent time understanding my lifestyle, my energy level peaks and troughs each day along with triggers that were causing the stomach issues I had.

​After the initial consultation, Rachel created a custom feedback plan for me with slight changes in the foods I ate, substitutions for those snacks that keep me going and lifestyle recommendations. Adjusting my diet and lifestyle felt easy achievable without having to give up eating with my family or having to eat foods I just don’t like.

I have been to see Rachel and found her to be excellent! So many times I have heard my mother use that age-old quote: "you are what you eat"! Well, after meeting with Rachel, I've learned this to be very true! She really takes a holistic approach with people and has taught me that being healthy and feeling well in oneself involves a good nutritional balance from whole foods and natural supplements. She even gave me recipes to try - and they were delicious! Working as a GP, I have a hectic lifestyle and a tendency to grab foods that were "easy to eat" and did not require much preparation. I had the mistaken belief that preparing truly healthy meals/dinners etc was time consuming. But I was wrong! The recipes are simple and straightforward, and I've started doing batch cooking for my really busy days. I definitely feel the difference in my energy levels and overall wellbeing.
